No net gain anyway if you could get it out of thin air. Now you burn 10% corn and get 10% worse mileage and get to go to the E10 or E85 station more often. It’s a loser. Hurts engines too.

I rode around in my brother-in-law’s Prius in early July and found it’s ride to be nice and comfortable. And the automobile was averaging 53.4 miles per gallon while I was a passenger. SUVs, like the Hummer, aren’t so much about simple transportation as they are about personal appearance. Bunk.
